You care about young girls who are drowning in pressure, loneliness and lies about who they are, but you can’t walk with each one personally. GraceGirlz is there with Christ-centered mentors, discipleship content delivered weekly and events that give her a clear path to grow in faith, confidence and Godly friendships. Your gift activates that journey so she doesn’t drift away from Jesus but discovers who she is in Him.
Throughout the year, girls participate in fun and meaningful quarterly events that blend spiritual teaching with creativity, service and connection. The highlight of the year is our annual GraceGirlz Conference, a powerful 2-day event filled with dynamic speakers, worship and breakout sessions that equip girls to live boldly for Christ.
New this year, GraceGirlz is offering weekly video encouragements sent directly via text, giving girls a consistent boost of truth, real talk, and faith-filled guidance—right on their phones. This mentorship continues all year long, helping girls stay rooted in God’s Word and connected to a supportive community.
Valentines from Jesus
Too many people are lonely on February 14th. You care about that, but you can’t reach each one yourself. Valentines from Jesus is your hands and feet, delivering a simple, life-changing message… “Jesus sees you. Jesus loves you. You are not alone.” When you give, you put that truth in thousands of hearts through printed valentines and caring volunteers. Your generosity turns a lonely day into a loving encounter.
What began as a small act of kindness has grown into a widespread ministry of hope and healing. Each year, heart-shaped Mylar balloons, boxes of Russell Stover Chocolates, and a card with John 3:16 are picked up by the community and delivered to those who may feel forgotten on Valentine’s Day—especially the elderly, widows, single parents and others who wouldn’t typically receive a valentine.
More than just a sweet gesture, these valentines often serve as divine appointments. Many recipients have given their lives to Jesus after receiving one, touched deeply by the tangible reminder of God’s love. With every heart-shaped balloon, this outreach continues to plant seeds of faith and have an eternal impact, one valentine at a time.
Lifeguard Kids Club
You want kids to grow up loving Jesus, but you can’t personally disciple them all. Lifeguard Kids Club and Jr. Lifeguard are your outstretched hands: a free, faith-building community now encouraging nearly 1,000 children. We provide age-tailored devotions, fun challenges, birthday cards and caring follow-up so each child takes simple next steps with Christ. Your gift keeps it free, expands resources to more families, and ensures no child is turned away. Jump in—help rescue the next generation with the hope of Jesus Christ.
Every child in the club receives a quarterly newsletter filled with engaging, age-appropriate content that helps them understand and apply Biblical principles to their everyday lives. From kindness and honesty to courage and prayer, each issue points kids back to Jesus in a fun and relatable way.
One of the most special parts of the program is that every child receives a Bible or devotional book on their birthday, helping them grow in their personal faith journey year after year. Whether they’re just beginning to learn about God or already deepening their relationship with Him, Lifeguard Kids Club and Jr. Lifeguard Kids Club offer consistent encouragement and truth that kids can carry with them for life.
Community Events
You want the hope of Jesus to show up where your neighbors actually are, not just on the radio. But you can’t be at every Blueberry Festival, concert or Easter Celebration at the Beach yourself. Life 90.5 is there: setting up booths, sharing music, praying with people and putting smiles on thousands of faces across the region. Your gift powers that on-the-ground presence, fueling outreach teams, gear and follow-up, so a casual festival moment becomes a Gospel encounter.
Life 90.5 cares about getting your family connected into local churches and continually shares details for church events like Vacation Bible School or Fall Festivals on its events calendar and on air.
Most recently, Life 90.5 took the lead in hosting the 25th Annual Easter Celebration at Crystal Pier in Wrightsville Beach, continuing a 25 year tradition with sunrise worship, free breakfast treats, kids’ goodie bags and a Resurrection message from Life 90.5’s own Jeff Loman for locals and tourists alike.
Whether it’s a concert, festival booth or beachside celebration, Life 90.5 is passionate about being present, sharing Jesus and building community one event at a time.
